VIT Pune Scholarships

• Scholarships, particularly for those from low-economic backgrounds or reserved categories, are offered to deserving applicants.
• The scholarship for SC / SBC / OBC/ candidates is given by the Social Welfare Department of Maharashtra, Pune.
• EBC grants the students to Maharashtra’s Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai.

VIT Pune Infrastructure

There are about 2,900 students, 225 faculty members, 67 labs, one central library, and 150 administrative and supporting staff at the institution.

The campus consists of four main buildings, a cafeteria, a coffee shop, a fruit juice stand, a breakfast room, NPB, and a fully air-conditioned auditorium with ceiling fans, and is spread over an area of 7 acres (28,000 m2).

The hostel for the students is off-campus. It is state-of-the-art and comes fitted with a restaurant. It is situated approximately 3.5 km away from the main campus.

• Internet Lab: The Internet Laboratory is open to students and employees. There is a Wi-Fi service accessible on campus.
• Library: The Vishwakarma Central Library was founded in 1984 and has provided physical and intellectual access to knowledge since then. The Reference Area, Journal Area, Reading Hallway, and Stack-Room are part of the library. A unique selection of encyclopedias, manuals, textbooks, journals, online cassettes, CD ‘S, video courses, etc. is available in the library.
