Undergraduate Courses
At the undergraduate level, VTU Belgaum offers the interested candidates Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) courses. B.E is a four-year course while B.Arch takes five years to finish.
Eligibility:
- For B.Tech and B.Arch, the applicant must have completed 12th class courses in appropriate disciplines from any recognized body.
- For B.Tech the score needed is JEE Main or Karnataka CET (KCET).
- NATA scores are required for entry into B.Arch.

Merit-based scholarship scheme:
- Scholarship of Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000 is awarded to the students according to eligibility.
- A scholarship of Rs 25,000 will be awarded to CET students achieving rank within 1000 at the time of admission.
- ComedK students securing rank within 3000 will earn a scholarship of Rs 10,000 when they are admitted.
- A scholarship of Rs 10,000 will be awarded to students achieving CGPA of above 9.5 in the first year or more than 90 percent in either semester.
- Rural Karnataka students from the economically weaker group admitted through the CET receive a scholarship of Rs10,000 to Rs 25,000
