UGC NET Phase 2 Admit Card Released | Important Dates | Application Fees | Eligibility

 

The UGC NET Phase 2 Admit card is going to be released by NTA, candidates can easily download the admit card through the official website.

The UGC NET is a national-level exam held for the hiring of candidates for the Post of  Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The UGC NET contains a total of 83 subjects including paper 1 and paper 2.

The candidates who have qualified for the exam are eligible to gain the position of Assistant Professor and also can become research scholars. The UGC NET Exam is conducted in Offline mode or Pen and Paper Test. Lakhs of candidates appear for UGC NET every year

The duration of UGC NET is 3 hours. While carrying the admit card candidates need to also carry one official Identity proof such as an Aadhar card, PAN card, Driving license, or Voter card. The Admit card is a compulsory document and the requirement of the document is mandatory for appearing in the exam.

The UGC NET Exam Will start from 11th December 2023.

    Application fees

The application fees for the candidates will be Rs.1,150 for General category candidates Rs.600 for OBC and EWS candidates and Rs.300 for SC, ST, and PwD Candidates

   How to apply

  • Applicants need to visit the official website of NTA.
  • Candidates need to select the UGC NET link and apply.
  • After applying applicants need to register themselves with their Mobile number and email ID.
  • After successful registration, a login account of the candidate will be created.
  • Now, candidates need to log in and upload all the required documents such as passport size photo and signature, and academic details.
  • After successful uploading of all the documents, candidates need to pay the application fee.
  • After successful registration applicants need to take a printout of the application form.

    Admit Card Download Process

  • To download the admit card candidates need to visit the official website of NTA.
     
  • After visiting the official website applicants need to enter their valid enrollment number and password.
     
  • After the login candidates portal will open, now click the hall ticket download link.
     
  • Click the link, download the admit card, and take a printout of it.

    Eligibility 

  • Applicants must clear post-graduation from a recognized board with an aggregate of 55% and 50% for SC, ST, and PwD Candidates.
  • Applicants must be citizens of India.
  • Candidates who are in their final year are also eligible
  • There is no age limit or number of attempts for the candidates

    Exam pattern

The Difficulty level of the exam is moderate to high. The question paper contains MCQ-type questions from two papers paper 1 which includes Teaching and Research Aptitude and paper 2 contains subject-type questions.

> For attempting every correct answer applicants will  2 marks for each question.

> For attempting every wrong answer no marks will be deducted.
