AIT popularly referred to as the Acharya Institute of Technology, may be a management and engineering college situated in Bangalore. It is accredited by the NBA (National Board of Accreditation) also as AICTE and was established in 2000. The college is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and has collaborations with various universities and industries worldwide. AICTE also granted the school ‘Technical Campus’ status within the year 2012.

This college is established by Premnath Reddy  AIT and offers six M Tech courses (Biotechnology, Computer Networking Engineering, computing and Engineering, digital communication Engineering, Machine Design, and Power Systems), and thirteen courses of BE (Aeronautical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Biotechnology, engineering, computing, Construction Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Science & Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mining Engineering, and knowledge Science & Engineering).

Acharya Institute of Technology is a private co-educational engineering and management college in Bangalore. It is affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). It offers 24 courses across multiple specializations under UG and PG wings.

For admission to the Undergraduate courses, 2 entrance tests are held by the institute. 50% of the candidates are admitted on the basis of their marks in the Common Entrance Test, conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka. 30% of the students are admitted on the basis of the Undergraduate Entrance Test. Post the entrance test, the candidate needs to undergo a counseling session.
