In 1997, under the aegis of the Apeejay Education Society, the Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar, Punjab (North India), was founded. It is endorsed by the All India Council Technical Education (AICTE) & Govt. Punjab, and it is associated with the I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (PTU), Kapurthala. The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) awarded it the status of a Technical Campus in 2012. In Engineering and Technology, Management, and Computer Systems, the Institute offers UG and PG programs.

Here are the admission details of courses offered by the Technical Campus of Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering (AIMETC):
- In computer science and engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Internet of Things and Cyber Security, including BlockChain Technology) and electronics and communication engineering, BTech is available.
- UG courses such as BTech, BBA, BCom, and BCA are offered by the Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC).
- MCA and MBA are PG courses offered at the Institute.
Candidates must pass Class 12 for BTech (total intake 120) from a board recognized or established by the Central/State Government through legislation on physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: chemistry, biotechnology, biology, or computer science / technical vocational subjects.
Students must pass Class 12 from a recognized board to receive admission to BBA (30 seats), BCA (30 seats), and BCom (30 seats).
Applicants must pass the Bachelor’s Degree recognized by the Association of Indian Universities for an MBA (intake 240). MCA (seats 60) requires students to have a Bachelor’s Degree recognized as one of the subjects by the Indian Universities’ association with mathematics, or the candidate should have one of the subjects as mathematics in Class 12.

AIMETC Courses:
The Institute accepts, based on its merit, admission to different UG and PG programs, either in a national entrance examination or for previous academics. Before admission, every candidate has to undergo a medical fitness examination and produce a medical fitness certificate. Applicants also need to be of good moral character. UG Course:
Admission to BTech is based on the rank of a candidate in JEE Main. Admissions are based on the academic merit of the candidate for the remainder of the UG programs.
BTech
Under four specializations, the institute offers a four-year BTech program. The candidates who have qualified for JEE Main are given preference for admission. If JEE main applications are exhausted and seats are still vacant, admission is offered based on merit to those with a three-year degree in engineering. If the seats are still vacant, candidates are admitted to a two-year certificate course from the Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) or Class 12 based on their merits.
Admissions are also offered through lateral entry into the second year of BTech, provided that the applicant meets one of the eligibility criteria listed below:
Diploma examination in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology from an AICTE-approved institution with a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate (40 per cent for reserved category)
BSc from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 45 per cent (40 per cent for reserved category) and passed Mathematics as a subject in Class 12
