Imperial Institute of Hotel Management also known as IIHM is a private institution that was established in 2004 in Chandigarh. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and certified by ISO 9001: 2008. The institute is affiliated with Chandigarh University.

Imperial Institute of Hotel Management Admission :
IIHM offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of Engineering, MBA, BBA, MSc, BSc, etc.
UG Diploma , MBA/PGDM are among the flagship courses.
Admission into the institute is done on the basis of entrance exams and merit followed by institute level counseling.
Admissions to BBA, BCA, and B.Com (Professional) are direct and subject to the availability of seats.
- MBA candidates can apply on the basis of PU MET/MAT/CMAT scores; MCA candidates are admitted on the basis of merit in qualifying degree examination.
- Lateral Entry admissions are also offered in the second year of MCA.

Admission for BBA and BCA :
The decision of getting a seat is primarily based on the merit of qualifying examinations and the availability of seats in that unique course. Candidates ought to register online after ensuring the eligibility standards.
All candidates who have passed 10+2 examinations with 50% (45% for reserved categories) as minimum aggregate marks in any of the recognized streams are eligible for BBA admissions.
For admission into BCA, candidates must have passed 10+2 pass with minimum 50% marks (For SC/ST minimum 45% is required) or equivalent CGPA.
Admission for MBA, MCA, and MCA (Lateral Entry)
MBA aspirants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any UGC/AICTE recognized university/institution. Applicants must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in graduation (45% for the applicants belonging to the reserved categories).
The choice method of MBA at the Imperial Institute of Hotel Management relies completely upon the performance of the candidates in their average tutorial records. Rounds of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) are held before finally finishing the resolution process. Candidates are chosen after considering all of these factors and in accordance with the directive of the State Government that is issued from year to year.
Candidates seeking admission in MCA must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Candidates must also have Math/Stats/ Business/Stats/ Quantitative Techniques as one of the subjects at 10+2 or degree level Or BCA or PG diploma in computer science.
MCA (Lateral Entry) admission is based on the BCA/ B.Sc degree in IT or Computer Science. Mathematics must be a compulsorily opted subject at 10+2 or degree and with minimum 50% marks (40% for reserved category candidates)

Admission into various courses at IIHM can be done by filling up the application forms that are available online as well as offline mode. The college changes a minimal amount as the application fee.
Steps for Online application :
- Visit the official website and create a login ID by filling the mandatory information in the admission tab.
- Fill the application form with all the required educational and personal details and upload scanned copies of the required documents.
- This is followed by paying the application fee via debit card/credit card/net banking or any other payment methods available.
- This is followed by submitting the application form.
Steps for offline application :
- For applying offline, the candidate needs to visit the college Admission Counsellor to fill the form, submit original documents, and pay the fee.
