VCEW Admission
The Vivekananda College of Engineering for Women (VCEW) is an autonomous institution established in 2001 in Tiruchengode, Tamil Nadu. The College is accredited by the All India Technical Education Council (AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai.
Vivekananda College of Engineering for Women (VCEW) offers five undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programs each. In addition, the College provides both full-time and part-time Ph.D. (CSE and EEE) programs.
- E./B.Tech./B.Arch candidates were required to pass the Higher Secondary Examination (10 + 2) with at least 50 percent marks in the Science stream.
- Candidates who have earned the Certificate or B. Sc. The government recognized an institution with 55 % marks
- Applicants seeking admission to the MBA program should have a Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent from accredited universities.
- To be admitted to M.E/MTech the applicant must pass the B.E./B.Tech. The Tamil Nadu Common Admission Requirements (TANCA).
- Admissions to B.E./B.Tech courses are based on the list of ranks of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA).
- Admission for M.E./MTech is based on the Tamil Nadu Traditional Entry Test (TANCET).
Application process
Vivekananda College of Engineering for Women (VCEM) invites offline registration forms for admission to various UG and PG programs. The admission process for all programs is as follows:
- The applicant can obtain the prospectus and the application form from the admission office of the Vivekananda Educational Institutions.
- Applications properly filed must be sent to the college office by registered mail. The applicant can apply the form directly to the Institute Office in person.

VCEW Facilities
The Vivekananda College of Engineering for Women (VCEW) has a library, hostel, transport, auditorium, and cafeteria facilities. Sports facilities offer a range of indoor and outdoor games. Details of these facilities are given below:
Library: The VCEW Library has a wide collection of both traditional and electronic resources across all information branches with a strong high-tech infrastructure facility. The digital library fulfills the student’s electronic content needs. Besides engineering texts and books of technical importance, there are books of general value and interest. The library is running the Open Access Scheme.
Knowledge Center: VCEW ‘s Knowledge Center disseminates knowledge to instructors, researchers, and students through short courses, conferences, seminars, and live thematic classes. The center is also engaged in the creation of knowledge repositories through lectures for advanced courses by leading experts, a project compendium, a question bank, and a laboratory.
Hostel: VCEW has a hostel with a double and four occupancy rooms. The rooms are very well furnished. The hostel has a hygienic kitchen, spacious dining rooms, an indoor swimming pool, and table tennis courts.
Cafeteria: A full-length canteen exists inside the campus for the convenience of staff and students.
Auditorium: VCEW has a spacious and wide auditorium with a seating capacity of 5,000 students. There are several seminars and academic sessions to be held here. It has a sound reinforcement system and a video conferencing service. Projecting services for films, slides, big-screen videos, and multimedia presentations.
Transportation: Approximately 200 buses and vans run from different parts of the districts, including Namakkal, Erode, Salem, Dharmapuri, Trichy, Karur, Dindigul, and Tirupur.
Sports: College invites students to take part in cricket, basketball, volleyball, football, badminton, table tennis, chess and a variety of other indoor and outdoor sports. In addition to sports, we provide our students with gym facilities to make them powerful and courageous.
Gymnasium: The college has a gymnasium facility and allows students to take part.
Wi–FI: The campus has wi-fi facilities and encourages students to take part in digital activities and use them for academic and personal development.
Anti–Ragging: The Anti-Ragging Committee of VCEW shall ensure that the provisions of the Regulations, as well as the provisions of the Law on Ragging, are complied with. It also tracks and oversees the performance of the anti-ragging team in the institution’s prevention of rigging.
Grievance Cell: The Grievance Redressing Committee shall resolve any concerns posed by students relating to general administration, examination/assessment, and any other problems relating to day-to-day functioning.
