MS Engineering College, popularly known as MSEC is a private institution located in Bangalore, Karnataka. Established in 2002, M S Engineering College offers Engineering and Business Management as the flagship streams.

MS Engineering College Admission :
MS Engineering College offers degree programs to candidates at the various undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and doctorate (Ph.D.) levels. The application can be made in the online or offline mode.
Admission for BE :
Candidates must obtain a valid score in COMEDK UGET/ JEE Main/ JEE Advanced/ KCET or equivalent entrance exams in order to get a seat in the UG courses.
Eligibility :
- Candidates seeking admission must have passed the 10 +2 / PUC examinations (physics, mathematics, and anyone of Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science as optional subjects) conducted by the Pre-University Board of Karnataka State or any other equivalent examination under Visvesvaraya Technological University.
- Candidates should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in the optional subjects.
Admission for lateral entry in BE :
- For admission to the 2nd-year of the BE, candidates must have passed a 3-year Diploma conducted by the Board of Technical Examination of Karnataka Government in the respective Branches/Courses or any equivalent examination under Visvesvaraya Technological University.
Admissions will take place according to the reservation policy of the State Government.
For SC/ST & Category I/II/III (Karnataka candidates only) candidates, a minimum of 45% in the optional subjects to get admission in either of the BE course.

Admission for MTech :
Candidates seeking admission in MTech must obtain a valid score in GATE / K-PGCET or equivalent entrance exams.
GATE scores are preferred over other qualifying exams.
Eligibility :
- Candidates who possess a Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent course recognized by VTU.
- Candidates should have passed the qualifying examinations with a minimum of 50% of the marks in all the years of the degree exams.
For SC/ST candidates or other categories reserved by the Government of Karnataka, the candidates must obtain an aggregate percentage of 45% marks in the qualifying exams.
Government and management quota is applied in colleges as per the government order issued.
Admission for Ph.D.:
Candidates are selected for Ph.D. programs on the basis of the entrance examination followed by counseling.
Qualifying entrance exams include UGC-NET/GATE or equivalent qualification.
Eligibility :
- Candidates who have passed the MPhil program are preferred.
- Passed postgraduate with a minimum of 55% aggregate from a recognized university
Admission for MCA :
PGCET/KMAT /MAT are some of the qualifying examinations for admission in the MCA course.
Eligibility :
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university under VTU or have passed any other equivalent examination.
- The candidates should have passed the qualifying exam with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree exams.
For candidates belonging to SC/ST or other categories reserved by the Government of Karnataka, the minimum aggregate percentage should be 45% in the qualifying exams.
Government and management quota is applied in colleges as per the government orders.
Application process :
Admission is done according to the rules prescribed by the Government of Karnataka for all categories. Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) administers UG admission for the qualifying candidates.
All PG admissions take place through the common entrance tests for MTech (PGCET/GATE) and for Master of Computer Applications (MCA) (PGCET/KMAT/MAT).
Candidates seeking admission to any of the other programs need to apply directly to the institute via management quota.
