Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE), Bangalore is a private and autonomous college, established in 1979. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), run by the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peetha Trust, and is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Ministry. It has also been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the NAAC with Grade ‘A’.
The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) has also given its recognition to DSCE.
DSCE offers various undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses for its students with multiple specializations.
The college has also received funding of Rs 4 crore from leading organizations, such as ISRO, DST, DBT, and DRDO to carry out its research activities.

DSCE Bangalore Placements :
DSCE has a quite active and well-equipped placement cell, especially for recruitments in CS and IT branches.
Around 75% of the students got placed in total and the highest salary package was recorded to be Rs 9 LPA with an average of 5.5 LPA. The salary package offered ranges from 3-30 LPA.

Along with excellent faculty in studies, the college provides facilities for numerous extra-curricular activities too. Some of them include sports, gymnasium, quizzes, arts, etc.
- Sports: the campus includes a playing field, tennis court, basketball court, squash court, gymnasium, aerobics hall, and a volleyball court, as well as other indoor and outdoor recreational areas.
- Premachandra Sagar Centre is an auditorium for Performing Arts.

DSCE Bangalore Admission Process 2024 :
DSCE admission process is based on an online application process for all programs. The institute offers B.E., MTech & doctoral programs. It also offers MSc by research. Candidates, who meet the eligibility criteria (mentioned below for each course), can register and fill an application form to apply for the preferred program.

The score of Entrance exams that are accepted for the DSCE admissions are mentioned below:
- BE admission is based on JEE Main/ COMEDK UGET/ KCET For lateral entry admissions, CET scores are considered.
- MTech program is based on GATE/ Karnataka PGCET
- MBA/ MCA admission must have a valid score in Karnataka PGCET/ MAT/ CAT/ KMAT.
- Ph.D./ MSc (research) programme, VTU conducts ULRAT entrance test.
Eligibility criteria :
For B.E. :
- 10 + 2 or equivalent test in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology / Computer Science / Electronics with 45 percent marks composite.
For M.Tech :
- BE/ BTech or equivalent examination.
For Ph.D.:
- Master’s degree in an accredited University or any such equivalent.
For MSc research :
- Bachelor’s Degree in the respective stream.
