Overview of NIIT University
NIIT University (NU), founded in 2009, is housed on a sprawling 100-acre campus in the heart of the Aravali Hills in Neemrana. Our campus is easily accessible by car, plane, or train. NU arose from our founders’ vision to build a model institution of learning, research, innovation, and sustainability based on our four core principles of providing an industry-linked, technology-based, research-driven, and seamless education.
Nurtured by some of the country’s foremost thought leaders and corporate practitioners, the multi-discipline University focuses on emerging areas of technology and management. It is on a 100-acre campus at Neemrana, Rajasthan,105 km from IGI Airport, Delhi, on NH-8. Nestled in the Aravali hills, the fully residential green campus offers an idyllic and intellectually vibrant environment for pursuing higher education and research. The University also houses a highly accomplished team of faculty members who are all experienced in their respective disciplines.
NIIT University recently concluded its 2022 placement drive with 100% placements. More than 700+ industry partners visited the campus. Significant recruiters included Airtel, Amazon, HCL, IBM, TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc. Data Science graduates received an average salary of INR 6.67 LPA & Cyber Security graduates received an average salary of INR 5.28 LPA.
Their founders, Rajendra S. Pawar and Vijay K. Thadani have used their experience as pioneers of computer education in India and veterans of the software services sector to create an institution that meets global educational standards.

Objective
Education at NIIT University recognizes that the rapid advancement of digital technology will render jobs obsolete while the student pursues a degree. NIIT University provides a distinct teaching-learning process developed and refined in its Educational Technology Innovation Center, based on the fundamental idea that each learner is unique and that the learning ecosystem must include collaboration with the learner’s future workplace. Courses, Eligibility, and Fees
The NIIT University was founded in 2009 in Neemrana, Rajasthan. It is a UGC-approved private university.
NIIT University offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. UG-level programs include four-year BBA and B.Tech programs with five specializations, an integrated M.Tech, an integrated M.Sc, and an integrated MBA course. PG-level courses include a two-year M.Tech. program in two disciplines. A Ph.D. program that lasts at least three years is also available at the University.
- Candidates must have completed 10+2 to be admitted to UG courses.
- The JEE Main, BITSAT, SAT, NEET, or any other state-level entrance exam determines admission to B.Tech., Integrated M.Tech., and Integrated M.Sc. programs.
- Candidates who do not have any of the scores above may take the NIIT University Aptitude Test (NUAT).
- Admission to the BBA, Integrated M.Tech, and Integrated MBA programs is based on a questionnaire, NUAT, and face-to-face or video-conferenced student personal interaction (SPI).
- Candidates for the Ph.D. program must have a master’s degree from a recognized university.
- An entrance exam determines admission to the Ph.D. program, and the University conducts an interview round.
- Applicants with GRE, GMAT, JRF, CSIR, or NET scores may also apply to the Ph.D. program.
There are five B.Tech. Specializations, five integrated M.Tech. Specializations, and seven integrated M.Sc. (CS) specializations. Furthermore, under the B.Tech. The program, institute offers minor domains. Candidates can review all of the fields listed below:

Candidates must have completed 10+2 and passed the 10th grade with at least 60%.
Candidates for the B.Tech. in Biotechnology and the Integrated M.Tech. Must have studied Physics, Biology/Mathematics, and English at the 10+2 level.
Candidates for B.Tech.-CSE/ECE must have studied physics, mathematics, and English.
Candidates for IB/Cambridge must have completed any program equivalent to 10+2.

Candidates are chosen for the B.Tech course based on their performance in the JEE Main, BITSAT, SAT, NEET, or any other state engineering entrance examination.
Those who do not have any of the above scores must take the NUAT exam, which the University administers.
Note: Candidates are strongly encouraged to take the NUAT, as the University will consider the best score.
Key Points: Pre-service applicants must take the NIIT University ET Admission Competency Test and a screening interview.
Typically, in-service applicants will be evaluated based on their interest, experience, and suitability for the program, as well as the recommendation of the sponsoring organization.
Placement and Ranking
NIIT University is a prestigious institution with a thriving placement office. The institute is conducting its placement drive for the class of 2022 and has achieved 100% placements once again. The placement drive attracted over 700 recruiters. The average CTC for data science was INR 6.67 LPA and INR 5.28 LPA for cybersecurity. NU has completed its class of 2021 placement drive, with 100% of students placed and 127 offers received. During the drive, 70 companies participated, with 66% of them being first-time recruiters. The highest CTC was INR 24.08 LPA, while the average CTC was INR 6.16 LPA.
The 2021 placement drive included top recruiters like IBM, Cisco, EY, Genpact, and Morgan Stanley.
100% of students were placed during the 2021 placement drive, and 70 companies recruited 127 students, 44% of whom were new recruiters.
The highest CTC during the 2021 placement drive was INR 24.08 LPA, while the average CTC was INR 6.16 LPA, and 82 students received a package worth more than INR 5 LPA. Top recruiters such as IBM, Genpact, Morgan Stanley, TCS, and Zomato participated in the 2021 placement drive.
NIIT University (NU) strongly emphasizes preparing students for the workforce through practical training programs such as Industry Practice and summer internships. The Center for Industrial Collaboration (CIC) collaborates with leading companies to give students hands-on experience in their fields of study. Summer internships typically last 2-3 months and provide students with their first taste of working in a professional environment, allowing them to develop functional knowledge and competencies, build professional networks, and test their interests.
The Industry Practice program, a flagship program at NU, is a six-month work experience in the final semester of the undergraduate program. Students are mentored by resident faculty, off-campus faculty, and industry professionals on multidisciplinary projects that address real-world industry problems. NU’s curriculum is also industry-focused, ensuring that graduates have the necessary skills and experience when they enter the workforce.
