Marwadi University

In Rajkot, Gujarat, India, there is a private institution called Marwadi University (MU). The Gujarat Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2016, passed by the Marwadi Education Foundation, was formed on May 9, 2016. It offers 54 different courses as of 2017. NAAC gave it an A+ rating.

The university is a part of the Group of Institutions run by the Marwadi Education Foundation (MEFGI). 2008 saw the start of MEFGI’s activities. Under the terms of the Bombay Public Trust Act of 1950, it was founded as the central division of the Marwadi Education Foundation. The Marwadi Shares and Finance Limited, a significant stockbroking firm in India, and Chandarana Intermediaries Brokers Pvt. Ltd. (CIBPL), a well-known corporation that engages in technical and arbitrage trading, both support Marwadi University.

Chairman and Managing Director

In 1992 saw, the Company was developed by Mr. Ketan H. Marwadi. He has also played a key role in helping the company get corporate memberships in the cash and derivatives segments of the BSE and NSE, membership in the Saurashtra Kutch Stock Exchange Ltd., and the beginning of NSDL and CDSL’s depository services. He now serves as the chief strategist, managing Marwadi Financial Services’ strategic expansion and development and its daily operations and activities to ensure the finest investor services.

With more than 25 years of experience working with stock exchanges and legislative and regulatory organizations and overseeing general compliance, Mr. Ketan H. Marwadi is knowledgeable about both the primary and secondary capital markets. His primary areas of competence are creating and studying capital markets and introducing various services for investors based on their needs.

Campus

The facility is situated on 32 acres of land and is about 40 minutes from a train station and an airport. There are eight multi-story buildings at the institution. College cafeterias, student groups, sports teams, and research facilities are all offered.

There are over 60,000 computers, 50,000 books, and two libraries using RFID technology.

The campus is also home to a bank and an ATM.

Every day, more than 70 buses run regularly for students and workers. [10] There are dormitory rooms that can accommodate more than 2000 students and provide internet access, laundry facilities, dancing studios, a library, etc.

The faculty offers a 5-year undergraduate degree called the Bachelor of Architecture that focuses on teaching students how to create original ideas and skills in architecture.

Faculty of Business management

The faculty offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in business management.

The undergraduate programs offered are Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors), and Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Markets).

The postgraduate programs offered are Master of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration in Business Analytics, and Master of Business Administration in Executive Program.

Faculty of Computer Applications

The bachelor of computer applications program is the undergraduate option. Master of Computer Application is the postgraduate program available.

Faculty of Commerce

The faculty offers undergraduate programs in Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Commerce (Honors).

Faculty of Law

Undergraduate and graduate degrees are available from the law faculty. The BA LLB and B.Com LLB undergraduate programs are available. LLM is the postgraduate program available.

Entrepreneurship Development Cell

The university intends to assist young people in starting their enterprises. Marwadi University created the Entrepreneurship Development Cell to support this initiative. It has implemented several university-based policies on campus, including: – The Student Startup and Innovation Policy of the Gujarati Government – The New Generation Innovation And Entrepreneurship Development Center (NewGen-IEDC). The cell offers assistance with pre-incubation, counseling for the subsidy, project report development, registration, management consulting, and other aspects of starting a firm.

Innovation and Incubation Research (MUIIR) Center

Strategic MOUs are signed by the Marwadi University Innovation and Incubation Research (MUIIR) Center to support entrepreneurs in energy conservation, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, sustainable development, and industry. 4.0. With the assistance of MUIIR, more than 32 start-ups in engineering, paramedicine, management, and science have successfully funded more than 50 lakhs.
