WBJEE JELET 2024: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results
The Joint Entrance Examination Board of West Bengal (WBJEEB) conducts a Joint Entrance Lateral Entry Test (JELET) once a year. JELET is carried out for admission to the second year (third semester) of Bachelor’s degree courses in Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy with the exception of Architecture in West Bengal’s government and private colleges.
WBJEEB JELET application form portal was reopened June 8 through June 15. Aspirants will be allowed to change the specifics in the June 16 to June 17 application section. The date of the exam is postponed and a new date will be declared shortly for conducting the test. It is an offline exam with four different choices and candidates will have to pick the correct answer.

WBJEE JELET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Only applicants who meet JELET eligibility requirements may qualify for the test. Candidates can follow requirements such as fitness tests, age limits, percentages, etc. For different sources the qualifying requirements are different. Find out the JELET 2024 qualifying requirements below.
Criteria of eligibility for Diploma Candidates
Applicants should have passed a diploma of at least 45 percent (40 percent for reserved category) or comparable CGPA in the branch of the AICTE accredited institution or university concerned.
Candidates should have received 60 percent aggregate (45 percent for reserved category) or equal CGPA in the section concerned from the authorized AICTE institute for admission to Jadavpur University.
Diploma holders have no upper age limit
For Pharmacy diploma holders pursuing entry to the Pharmacy degree course: Applicants may also be eligible for first-year enrollment if the second year vacancies (lateral entry) are filled
Criteria for registration of BSc holder
Candidates should have passed BSc from a 45 percent aggregate recognized institution (40 percent for reserved category).
Candidates should have finished Class 12 with Maths as their primary subject.
If applicants are accepted, they have simple Engineering Mechanics and Engineering Graphics / Drawing along with the subjects of the second year.
BSc students are not eligible for Pharmacy course entry.
BSc holders are also not eligible for admission to the University of Jadavpur.
Criteria for registration of both Diploma and BSc holders
Candidates will also be eligible for entry to the first year of the Engineering Program if seats remain empty in the first year and vacancies filled in the second year (lateral entry).

WBJEE JELET 2024 Admission Procedure
WBJEE JELET 2024 Application Form
The application form window for WBJEEB JELET 2024 will be reopened from June 08 to June 15 and the correction facility will be available from June 16 to June 17.
