About UPES Dehradun – 

The Uttarakhand State Legislature’s UPES Act created the UPES University in 2003. Students in the Management, Engineering, and Science streams can take UG, PG, PhD, and other courses at UPES University through its nine schools of study. According to the QS Asia University Rankings 2023, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies is rated nine overall among universities. IACBE, NBA, NAAC, UGC, the Indian Bar Council, and the Indian Pharmacy Council all accredit Petroleum University, and it has received an A grade. The Government of India, DISR, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and UPES University all recognise the university as a scientific and research organisation.

The Association of Indian Universities, the International Association of Universities, the World Design Organization, the CII, and the PhD Chamber of Commerce and Industry all recognise UPES Dehradun as a member. In Dehradun, the institution has two campuses: UPES Bidholi and UPES Kandoli. The institution provides online courses to students through CCE. The Distance Education Council has authorised the online courses.

The British Council Library, the American Centre Library, the AIMA Library, the Central Secretariat library, and DELNET, IIP, and WIHG Dehradun have also granted institutional memberships to UPES.

UPES Dehradun  Cafeteria – 

In order to provide students from both campuses with wholesome and well-balanced meals, snacks, and beverages, UPES has a multi-story food court on its campus. It also has a number of food courts and cafeterias with a modern ambiance.

UPES Dehradun  Hostel – 

On its campuses in Bidholi and Kandoli, the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies offers separate dormitories for males and girls with a capacity for more than 2000 students. For learning, there is wi-fi available in every hostel. Each hostel has a common space for recreation, as well as facilities for solar water heaters and 24 hour power backup. The hostels have a dining area. There are also hostels with air conditioning. For acceptable housing off-campus, UPES has partnered with private dorms for female students in the city.
