SRM Easwari Engineering College (SRM EEC) is a private self-financing organization set up in 1996 by the Sri Ramaswamy Memorial (SRM) bunch with the endorsement of the Government of Tamil Nadu and AICTE. Prior to the school was associated with the University of Madras, yet since 2002, the school is partnered with Anna University Chennai.
The school offers graduate and postgraduate-level projects in design and innovation. Admission to these courses is done through TNEA and TANCET.

SRM EEC Offered Courses
The college offers a number of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses. The UG courses are four years in duration and the PG classes are two years in duration. Offered courses and their eligibility criteria are given below.
BE / B.Tech Programmes
- The basic eligibility to apply for BE / B.Tech is Class 12 with Physics or Mathematics as a compulsory subject of a reputable board of directors.
- Applicants are chosen on the basis of valid TNEA rankings.
ME Programmes
- In order to be eligible for admission to the ME program, students should have a degree in the related stream from a recognized university or institute.
- Admission is rendered via the score of the TANCET. Short-listed candidates on the basis of their marks shall be eligible for the admission procedure.

- Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in the subject field with minimum necessary marks from a recognized university or institute are only eligible to apply for an MBA program.

SRM EEC Admission
SRM Easwari Engineering College Admission 2024 is based on the criteria laid down by Anna University. Admission to the UG program is dependent on merit scores in Class 12 followed by TNEA counseling and for PG courses such as MBA and ME, candidates are expected to obtain a valid score in TANCET followed by TANCA counseling.
SRM Easwari Engineering College BE/ B.Tech Admission
At the UG level, SRM Easwari Engineering College offers a four-year BE / B.Tech program in 11 specializations. Admission to this program is based on the eligibility of applicants in compliance with the rules laid down by Anna University and is accompanied by advice from TNEA.
The minimum eligibility criteria for this course is a class 12 pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects.
Applicants who have completed the Diploma program at the end of Class 12 are eligible for admission to the second year of B.Tech.
Those with a degree in Science (B.Sc i.e. 10 + 2 + 3) and a subject in Mathematics are eligible to apply for Lateral entry in the BE / B.Tech program. Such applicants will be subject to two additional engineering subjects in the third and fourth semesters as determined by the University.
SRM Easwari Engineering College ME, MBA Admission
SRM Easwari Engineering College also offers ME and MBA courses to its postgraduate students. Admission to the two-year ME course is given on the basis of the scores of the TANCET test. The institute has set the minimum eligibility criteria for all five ME specializations A graduate of any branch related to the desired ME branch from a recognized university is eligible for applying.
Admission to the MBA program offered by SRM Easwari Engineering College is also based on a clear score in the TANCET exam followed by a TANCA consultation. The minimum eligibility criterion for the MBA course is graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

SRM EEC Infrastructure
The following is a list of the services and amenities offered by the institute to its students:
Faculty: SRM EEC has a wide and diverse faculty of 257 highly trained and highly educated individuals. Of these, 69 of the participants are Ph.D. holders in their respective disciplines. Both members of the faculty are seasoned and well-versed in their subjects.
Hostel: All male and female students are accommodated in separate hostel units. There are many arrangements and facilities available to students living there, including study space, recreation hall, gymnasium, indoor sports, department stores, solar water heater, magazine section, reverse osmosis water facility, residential medical officers, generator collection, security cameras, Wi-Fi, etc.
Library: The institute’s library has a collection of over 77,000 books and papers, ICT-based teaching services, NPTEL, and EDUSAT.
Sports: indoor sports include table tennis, chess, carom, and gym (men and women). Outdoor Sports like Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Badminton, and Cricket net.
Other facilities at the institute include medical care, ATM and banking, 48 transport buses, and a cafeteria with a range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies.
