Sri Krishna College of Technology also known as SKCT was established in the year of 1985. A private college, SKCTis accredited by NAAC Grade ‘A’ and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and UGC.
Further, the college is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai (AU Chennai).
Around 14 courses are offered at the college by across 3 streams wherein candidates are admitted through TNEA, TANCET/ GATE, MAT/ XAT/ ATMA, and UGC-NET entrance exams in the college.
The college provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as BE/ B.Tech, ME/ M.Tech, MCA, and MBA under 7 different specializations.
The college is spread out in an area of more than 20 acres with facilities such as well-equipped classrooms, highly qualified faculty, and administrative blocks, a modern library, and computer labs, practical laboratories, etc.

Sri Krishna College of Technology [SKCT] is affiliated to Anna University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This college is also accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade and secured accreditation of the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi for its undergraduate program.
Admission to the College is based on the score obtained by the candidates in the respective entrance exams such as TNEA, TANCET/ GATE, MAT/ XAT/ ATMA, UGC-NET followed by the counseling process.
Admission Highlights :
- The undergraduate Program includes B.E and B. Tech in different specializations, and Post-graduation Program includes M.E, M.C.A, M. Tech, and M.B.A General.
- Tech and B.E candidates must attend the TNEA counseling followed by shortlisting on the basis of 10+2 marks.
- Selection in E. and M. Tech is done on the basis of scores obtained in GATE or TANCET. M.E. candidates must appear in TANCET counseling.
- A Graduation degree is primarily required to take admission in any PG course of a certain stream. However, it is possible to entertain the graduation degree in every curriculum for the program MBA or MCA.
- MBA candidates must clear CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA. In addition, in the group discussion and personal interview rounds, applicants must also participate.
- Candidates must hold a post-Graduation degree from any recognized board or institution to begin a Ph.D. program.
Admission into BE/BTech :
Eligibility :
- Candidates must pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with subjects of PCM or vocational subjects from any recognized Board.
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks are required.
- Age Limit: 17 or above
For Lateral Entry :
- Direct Admission to the 2nd year can be done via Lateral Entry.
- Diploma in Engineering/Technology or B.SC. in Mathematics
Admission into MTech :
Sri Krishna College of Technology offers M.E./M.Tech under 5 Specializations such as :

Eligibility :
- Admission is granted on the basis of the marks secured in GATE or TANCET.
Admission into MBA/MCA :
The institute also offers full-time postgraduate degree in MCA and MBA for a duration of 2 years.
MBA (120 seats) eligibility :
- Based on the Rank secured in CAT/MAT/XAT and Group Discussion(GD) and Personal Interview(PI) Rounds.
- Graduation degree with a minimum 50% aggregate of every discipline.
MCA (60 seats) eligibility :
- Admission to the MCA course is based on the marks of TANCET.
- Graduation Degree with a minimum of 50% with compulsory Mathematics.
Admission for Ph.D.
- Admission into the Ph.D. program is merit-based and is done on the basis of scores in the previous examinations.
Applicants seeking admission in Ph. D programs must ensure having a Post-Graduation degree incompatible subjects from any recognized board or University.

Sri Krishna College of Technology Cut-off 2023:
Candidates are given admissions to various UG & PG courses offered at the Sri Krishna College of Technology on the basis of the cut-offs of the respective entrance tests required for qualification.
Cut-offs are released professionally by the college authority category-wise.
The reservation criteria issued by the Government of India and the state are also kept in mind. Other factors include :
- The total number of applicants applying
- The total seats available
- The previous year’s TNEA or TANCET cutoffs.
The candidates that meet the criteria are only preferred for admissions.
Admissions are carried out on the basis of merit for most programs, except for courses, including colleges:
- B.Tech, and B.Arch, applicants are selected on the basis of the cut-offs of TNEA or JEE Main.
- For MTech, cut-off scores in the GATE entrance test is preferred.
- For MBA, cut off scores in CAT/MAT/XAT are considered while for MCA, TANCET cut-offs are preferred.
Similarly, candidates applying to any other course must qualify the cut-off to be eligible to get admission.
