Along with the University, the Presidency Group of Institutions (PGI) is made up of 7 Schools and a College. In addition to undergraduate and graduate programmes in information technology, business, management, and journalism offered by the institution, the schools also offer National and International Boards of Studies. The NAAC has reaccredited Bengaluru’s Presidency College with a “A+.” The AICTE, Delhi has approved Presidency College’s postgraduate MBA programme. PGI has established a reputation as one of Bengaluru’s top institutions in just three short decades. Presidency Group of Institutions (PGI) received the 2014 British South India Council of Commerce and Business Meet’s “Most Promising Institute in South India” award.

By the Times Engineering Institute Ranking Survey 2021, the School of Engineering at Presidency University in Bengaluru was ranked No. 1 in Pan India under Top Emerging Engineering Institutes, No. 4 under Emerging Engineering Institutes-Placement, and No. 7 under Emerging Engineering Institutes-Research Capability.
Presidency University’s School of Management has received the following rankings from the Times B-School Survey 2021: 6 in South India for Regional Rankings, 11 in Pan India for Top 15 Private Universities, and 31 in Pan India for Top 100 Management Institutes (Overall Ranking).
According to the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework 2021 [IIRF-2021], published by Education Post in December 2020, the Presidency University of Bengaluru’s School of Law is now ranked number 34 in the country overall in the category of best law colleges for 2021.
According to the Times Engineering Institute Ranking Survey 2020, Presidency University’s School of Engineering in Bengaluru is ranked Top 2 in Pan India for Top Emerging Engineering Institutes, Top 8 for Emerging Engineering Institutes-Placement, and Top 10 for Emerging Engineering Institutes-Research Capability.
The School of Management at Presidency University was ranked 61 in Pan India under Best B Schools Private (Overall) and ranked 34 in Pan India under Top Pvt. B-Schools under University Program.
Presidency University Placement –
The 2023 placement information has not yet been made public by Presidency University Bangalore. But the NIRF report 2023 is now available. The report states that during Presidency University Bangalore placements 2022, 116 UG (3-year), 1,429 UG (4-year), 7 UG (5-year), 14
PG (1-year), and 480 PG (2-year) students were placed. The median compensation package provided during Presidency University Bangalore placements ranged from INR 3.82 LPA for UG (3-year) students to INR 4.50 LPA for UG (5-year) students to INR 3.16 LPA for PG (1-year) students.
Presidency University Admission –

Admissions at Presidency University are mostly determined by entrance exams. The university has the authority to administer its own tests, including the PUEET (for BTech admission), PDET (for BDes admission), and PULAT (for BA LLB/BBA LLB/BCom LLB admission). In its six component schools, it provides more than 30 programmes in a variety of fields, including engineering, commerce, management, law, design, science, computer application, and more. Presidency University Cafeteria
For the advantage of the employees and students, the university maintains a reputable cafeteria on campus that serves a variety of dishes, including North and South Indian cuisine and fast food. The cafeteria’s food is sanitary and delivers a taste of home with filling, freshly prepared dishes from all over the nation.
Presidency University Hostel
Students who live on campus are given furnished housing with a cot, chair, cupboard, internet, etc. Every hostel has a private dining space, communal areas with TVs, etc. There is a gaming area in the hostel. The hostel has a drinking water facility with both hot and cold water. For shopping trips to the nearby Yelahanka New Town on weekends and holidays, transportation is made available to female students. The hostel will be made available based on first come, first served. Hostel and room allocation will be done at random. Once assigned, hostel and rooms cannot be changed.
Presidency University Sports –
According to Sports Department at the university, when you exercise your body, you also exercise your mind. Sports are one of the crucial co-curricular activities that are offered at all educational institutions in addition to academics. Sports have a favourable impact on our students’ academic success. Team sports promote leadership and cooperation among the players. The university provides its students with access to a wide range of indoor and outdoor sporting activities so they can grow. The Sports department is run by a seasoned Director of Physical Education and offers first-rate facilities and skilled sports instructors. There will also soon be a gym with all the amenities. Every sport has a specific coach who prepares the pupils and puts them through hard training so they can participate at the national level.
Presidency University Labs –
The university’s learning architecture is enhanced by the presence of two cutting-edge computing facilities. Two specialised high-performance servers are kept in the middle. Additionally, the Center has a constant Wi-Fi connection. All stakeholders now have access to the internet thanks to two distinct vendors’ availability of dedicated bandwidth of 20 Mbps and 10 Mbps. Wi-Fi connects the campus’s academic and administrative facilities, as well as the library and other structures. The “Glob arena” e-mentoring system, which is used in language labs, is also available in the Computing Center. Along with improving the students’ grammar and vocabulary, it aids in the development of their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
