NMIMS University, Bangalore is the NMIMS University, Mumbai (Deemed University) campus of the deemed-to-be SVKM. This campus was built in 2008 and offers various UG, PG, and executive programs in various disciplines and specializations. Admission to these courses is offered through the NMIMS entrance test. In the town of Bengaluru, the university campus has two sub-campuses, the Koramangala campus (main Bengaluru campus, NMIMS Bangalore) and the Bannerghatta campus (also known as NMIMS School of Management, Bengaluru).
At the UG level, this campus provides BBA, BSc, BCom, BA LLB (Hons), and BBA LLB (Hons). The PGDM and PG Diploma in Banking & Financial Services (PGDBFS) are offered at the PG level. Admission to executive programs such as the Executive PGDM and Executive PG Diploma in Data Science & Analytics is also offered by NMIMS Bengaluru.

NMIMS School of Business Management Admission
In the course-specific entrance test, admission to all the programs offered by the institute is entirely dependent on a clear score.
Admission for PGDM is provided by a Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) exam followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) based on a valid NMAT score.
For admission to BCom, BBA, BCom (Hons) BSc (Finance and Economics) programs, a valid score in NMIMS – NPAT is required for

UG Courses:
NMIMS Bengaluru (Koramangala campus) offers BBA, BSc, and BCom (Hons) programs at the undergraduate level. For an online test (NPAT) conducted at different locations in India, all qualified candidates seeking admission to these courses are required to appear.
- Based on the marks acquired in NMIMS-NPAT, a merit list is prepared and campus preference is granted in the online registration form.
- As per significant dates, the merit list will be placed on the NMIMS website.
- The selection will be based solely on the merit and choice of the applicant for all services, including campus (the NMIMS cut-off for the decision of merit will be).
PG Courses:
At the postgraduate level, the Institute is offering a Postgraduate Diploma in Banking & Financial Services (PGDBFS) program, which is the NMIMS Bengaluru Joint Certification with Industry Partner CRISIL.
The selection for this program is based on the Institute’s Aptitude Test accompanied by Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI).
Courses of Executive education:
With its E-PGDM and Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science and Analytics (PGD DSA) programs, the institute also provides executive education in addition to the UG and PG programs. Based on the GD and PI carried out by the Institute, access to these programs is offered.

Application procedure :
Admission into various courses at NMIMS Bengaluru can be done by filling up the application forms that are available online as well as offline mode. The college changes a minimal amount as the application fee.
Steps for Online application :
- Visit the official website and create a login ID by filling in the mandatory information in the admission tab.
- Fill out the application form with all the required educational and personal details and upload scanned copies of the required documents.
- This is followed by paying the application fee via debit card/credit card/net banking or any other payment methods available.
- The candidate must take a printout of the form and payment receipt and is required to report to the college within ten days and submit original documents along with the admission letter.
Steps for offline application :
- The candidate must register on the official website of the college.
- After this, the candidate needs to visit the college Admission Counsellor to fill out the form, submit original documents, and pay the fee.

- Candidates with two or more years of post-qualification job experience would be favored.
PGD DSA
- Class 12 and graduation with a 55 percent minimum aggregate.
- Those with 2 years or more of work experience are eligible to apply.
BSc in Applied Science and Analytics
A pass with Mathematics / Statistics as subjects in class 12 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50 percent.
BBA & BCom (Hons)
A pass with Mathematics / Statistics as subjects in class 12 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60 percent.
PGDBFS
- Graduation with a 55 percent minimum aggregate.
The program can also be applied for by Candidates with 55 percent & above graduation and 1-2 years of working experience
NMIMS School of Business Management Placements
In terms of its final placements, NMIMS Bangalore is one of India’s famous business colleges. By offering more coveted positions every year the legacy recruiters at NMIMS Bangalore improve their confidence in the selection of talent.
The campus saw the participation of over 250 students from PGDM and BSc in the Applied Statistics and Analytics program during 2019 placements. NMIMS School of Management, Bengaluru (which is the Bannerghatta campus of NMIMS Bangalore) offers both of these programs. 100% of the total participating students were put in more than 90 businesses.
Companies such as VMware, Exide Life Insurance, Tata Capital, and many more have also offered PPOs to students. Over 25 new firms, such as H&M, Bloomberg, and more, took part in the season’s recruitment session out of the total.
The students were given a maximum package of Rs 21.38 LPA.
On average, as shared by this campus in its official placement report, every student at NMIMS Bangalore received a package of Rs 10.5 LPA.
NMIMS School of Business Management Scholarships
The Central Sector Scholarship Scheme provides financial assistance for college and university students to economically disadvantaged students from general, SC, ST communities, and physically disabled students.
Eligibility- Students who are above the 80th percentile of eligible applicants in class 2 or equivalent and have a family income of less than INR 6 Lakhs per year, regular courses, and no other scholarship scheme is available.
The scholarship rate is INR 1000/- per month for the first three years at the graduation level and INR 2000/- per month at the post-graduation level.
In the 4th and 5th years, students pursuing technical courses will get INR 2000/- per month. In an academic year, the scholarship is paid for 10 months.
NMIMS School of Business Management Cut-off:
Candidates are given admission to various UG & PG courses offered at the NMIMS School of Business Management based on the cut-offs of the respective entrance tests or merit required for qualification. Cut-offs are released professionally by the college authority category-wise.
The reservation criteria issued by the Government of India and the state are also kept in mind. Other factors include :
- The total number of applicants applying
- The total seats available
- The previous year’s cutoffs.
