Mahatma Jyoti Rao University, located in the city of Jaipur in Rajasthan, was established in 2009 under the Mahatma Jyoti Rao University Act. The university is well-recognized across the country for its education and learning atmosphere. It also has a sprawling campus spread over a 100-acre area.

About AICTE
Under the Department of Higher Education, the Ministry of Human Resource Development, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is the legislative body and the state technical education council. AICTE was first established as an advisory body in November 1945 and subsequently granted legislative status by an Act of Parliament in 1987. It is responsible for the proper planning and organized growth of India’s technical education and management education system. According to its charter, the AICTE accredits postgraduate and graduate programs at Indian institutions under particular categories. The 10 Legislative Boards of Studies, namely UG Studies in Eng., assist it. & Tech., PG and Eng. analysis. Architecture, Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Information Technology, Town and Country Planning, and Tech., Management Studies, Vocational Education, Professional Education, Pharmaceutical Education.
Eligibility Criteria
- Most of the courses are admitted to students on the basis of merit and scores obtained in the last qualifying test.
- The CLAT and JET exams are required for courses in law and agriculture.
- For most UG courses, students must score a minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate, but some courses such as Yoga and Vedic science and Law have distinct criteria. And the minimum eligibility threshold for aggregate marks for PG and doctoral courses is different for both courses.
- Students must also explain the basic conditions for eligibility. Students must have cleared 10 + 2 with the corresponding stream for UG courses, students must have a bachelor’s degree in the appropriate fields for PG courses, and students must have a master’s degree in the related field for doctoral courses.
