What is MAH CET 2024?
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MAH CET is a computer-based entry-level management test. Officially known as MAH MBA / MMS-CET, the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, holds an MBA course in various institutes in the state of Maharashtra. MAH CET MBA is accompanied by the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) on Counselling, in which candidates will be allocated MBA seats in MAH CET participating colleges on the basis of their scores. The exam was held on 14 and 15 March.
The result was announced on 23 May after a delay of almost two months. This year 1,24,236 candidates applied and 1,10,631 took the exam. Over 1 qualified and 16 qualified students scored 99.99 percentile. Shashank Chandrahas Prabhu was named topper with a score of 159/200 and a score of 99.99. The MAH CET MBA / MMS therapy process was held in June-July but was postponed indefinitely this year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Syllabus
MAH CET syllabus consists of four sections-Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension.
Counselling
The MAH CET test requires counselling, which is a centralised procedure and is protected by the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). This procedure is carried out by the State Common Entrance Test Cell for the allocation of seats to the MAH CET test participants in the participating institutes. Students from outside Maharashtra are expected to have a clear score of CAT / GMAT / CMAT / MAT(February Session)/XAT / ATMA to be qualified to apply for admission to Maharashtra Management Colleges under MAH CET Counselling.
This consultation process will take place in June and July. Applicants are expected to register for the MAH CET counselling process on the Maharashtra CET website. Mentioned below are the primary points that candidates need to know about MAH CET counselling.
- The Counselling takes place in three rounds for both Maharashtra State and Beyond Maharashtra State candidates.
- Registration fee is ₹ 1000 to be charged at the time of completion of the online application.
- Upon selection for admission, the applicant must visit specified counselling centres for record review.

Results
The results were eventually announced after a delay of almost two months. The result for MBA / MMS was announced in the form of a merit list this year. The merit list includes each candidate’s name, registration number, roll number, MAH CET score and MAH CET percentile.
Over 1.10 lakh candidates took the exam and over 1.04 lakh eligible and 16 candidates scored 99.99 percentile in the exam. All India is Shashank Chandrahas Prabhu with 159 scores and 99.99 percentile, followed by Ankit Udit Thakker with 155 scores and 99.99 percentile and Akansha Srivastava with 153 scores and 99.99 percentile.
