What is JUET 2024?
JUET 2024 or Jammu University Entrance Test 2024 is a national level entrance examination conducted for offering admissions to Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in Science, Arts/ Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce, IT, Law and Management streams. JUET is conducted in offline mode. There will be 10 exam centers in the regions of Jammu & Kashmir and Delhi. The courses are offered at the Departments of the University including the main campus and the offsite campuses as well as more than 120 colleges affiliated to the University of Jammu.

JUET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Course wise eligibility criteria for JUET is given below:
For Master’s courses in Science, Life Science and Mathematical Science: Candidates should have passed or appeared in the final year of bachelor’s degree and should have studied the relevant subject as one of the main subjects.
For self-financing courses:
- Candidates should have passed or appeared in the final year examination of a bachelor’s degree of three years or four years duration.
- Candidates should have secured at least 55% marks in the qualifying degree.
- The eligible degree is BDS/ MBBS/ or any bachelor’s degree in science with the relevant subject.
- For remote sensing and GIS degree, the minimum qualifying marks are 50% in aggregate.
For Master’s course in Arts, Social Science, Education, and Law:
- Candidates should have passed or appeared for the bachelor’s degree with the relevant subjects.
- For Buddhist Studies, the minimum qualifying mark is 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks for SC/ ST category) and if the bachelor’s degree is other than the Arts stream than the minimum qualifying marks are 60% in aggregate.
- For Punjabi, the minimum qualifying mark is 60%.
- For Kashmiri, the minimum qualifying mark is 40% (36% for candidates belonging to SC/ ST category).
- For B.Ed. and MPEd, the minimum qualifying mark is 50%.
- For BPEd, the minimum qualifying marks are 50% in general and 45% marks if participated in various sports competitions.
- For the three-year LLB course, the minimum qualifying mark is 45% (40% if belonging to SC / ST category).
- For MLib Isc., the minimum qualifying mark is 50% in the BLib Isc degree (45% marks if belonging to SC / ST category).
For a Master’s degree in commerce:
Candidates should have passed any one of the bachelor’s degree with minimum 60% marks – B.Com, BBA, BA, B.Sc, BCA.
For Diploma courses:
- For Postgraduate diploma courses candidates should have passed or appeared for a relevant bachelor’s degree course.
- For PGD in Human Rights and Duties, the minimum qualifying mark is 45% in aggregate (40% for candidates belonging to SC / ST category).
For Bachelor’s degree courses in Law, Commerce, and Management:
- Candidates should have passed or appeared in the HSC examination of Jammu & Kashmir State Board of School Education or equivalent examination.
- For B.Com (Horner’s), the minimum qualifying mark is 40% marks with commerce subjects.
- For BA LLB, the minimum qualifying mark is 45% (40% marks for SC / ST category candidates) and candidates should not be more than 21 years of age if belonging to the general category and 22 years or less for candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC category as on July 1 of the admission year.
- For BBA, the minimum qualifying mark is 50% (40% for SC / ST category candidates).
