Candidates need to have at least 40 percent marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject in class 12 for admission to the BE program. Admission to a few UG courses is dependent on merit, and applicants need to attend entrance examinations for others.
The final selection for the Master’s program is based on the score obtained in the entrance exams: for MTech and MBA, PGCET/GATE, students need a valid PGCET/MAT/CMAT/KMAT score. Admission into various courses at DBIT can be done by filling up the application forms that are available in the online as well as offline mode. The college changes a minimal amount as the application fee.
Steps for Online application :
- Visit the official website and create a login ID by filling in the mandatory information in the admission tab.
- Fill the application form with all the required educational and personal details and upload scanned copies of required documents.
- This is followed by paying the application fee via debit card/credit card/net banking or any other payment methods available.
- The candidate must take a print out of the form and payment receipt and is required to report to the college within ten days and submit original documents along with the admission letter.

Library: The library is housed on the ground floor, in the main administrative block spread over approximately 800 Sq.M. To help the user community, the library has well-trained professionals. At any point in time, about 150 users will sit and read.
Sports: The campus is well equipped with advanced physical education and sports facilities. In various modern and traditional Indian games, training is offered.
