Dwarkadas J Sanghvi College of Engineering (DJSCE)
Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering also known as DJSCE was founded in 1994 by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal. It is named after Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi, a renowned industrialist in the pen industry. After the 2019-20 academic session, the engineering college has become an independent educational institution. Located in Vile Parle, it is an AICTE-approved college. It is affiliated with Mumbai University and it offers engineering courses at UG, PG, and Doctoral levels.
Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal is registered under the Society’s Registration Act and the Bombay Public Trust Act as a Public Charitable Trust. The Mandal has now developed into a large educational complex that provides high-level education to more than 50,000 students since its modest beginnings in 1934 when it took over the Rashtriya Shala, a school set up in 1921 in the wake of the National Revolution.
The Mandal has built a large educational complex in Vile Parle, Suburban Mumbai over the past 85 years and has spread its wings to metro cities such as Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Navi Mumbai, etc. Today, SVKM is proud of some of the country’s finest educational institutions such as NMIMS, University, and N.M. College of Commerce and Economics, Mithibai College, D.J. It also has Nursery to High Schools, Jr. in its family schools. ICSE or IB, IGCSE, or CBSE curriculum delivery college. DJSCE Admission :
For all the courses, the college itself determines eligibility requirements. After the full application form has been filled out, candidates can apply to the college. Based on merit, admissions take place. Direct entry to the second year of the BA degree course takes place as well.
- The final selection is done based on the entrance test.
- For domiciles of Maharashtra, the MHT-CET score is considered a priority.
Admission into BE/BTech :
- The final selection for all Indian Nationals is made based on the JEE Key Score.
- The score in MHT CET is the selection criterion for Maharashtra domicile students.

Application process :
Applicants for UG and PG courses must register with the university portal.
- Candidates must download an online application form and fill in the information for admission to Ph.D. courses and then send it to the college authorities.
- To go ahead with the admission process, they must pay an amount of INR 3000 as the application fee.
Admission into various courses at DJSCE can be done by filling up the application forms that are available online as well as offline mode. The college changes a minimal amount as the application fee.
Steps for Online application :
- Visit the official website and create a login ID by filling in the mandatory information in the admission tab.
- Fill out the application form with all the required educational and personal details and upload scanned copies of the required documents.
- This is followed by paying the application fee via debit card/credit card/net banking or any other payment methods available.
- Candidates must take a printout of the form and payment receipt and are required to report to the college within ten days and submit original documents along with the admission letter.

- The candidate must register on the official website of the college.
- After this, the candidate needs to visit the college Admission Counsellor to fill out the form, submit original documents and pay the fee.

In several specializations, the college offers the B.E Program at the undergraduate level and the M.E Program at the postgraduate level. B.E has a duration of 4 years and M.E has a duration of 2 years. It also runs Ph.D. programs with a span of 3 years in three different disciplines. DJSCE Scholarship :
For students with a physical disability, the college offers scholarships. It offers a stipend to MTech students who have qualified for the GATE exam. Scholarships are granted to students belonging to the SC / ST / OBC group (DTE-CAP accepted students).
