Admissions –
Admission to DU’s undergraduate programmes is determined by performance on the NTA-conducted Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam. Additionally, starting with the 2023–2024 academic year, DU will administer PG course admissions via CUET–PG. In contrast, admission to some UG and all PG courses in the academic year 2022–23 was contingent on passing DU entrance tests, such as the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) or the Delhi University LLB Entrance Exam, which were both followed by a personal interview (PI). Candidates who wish to apply for admission to Delhi University in 2023 at any of the more than 90 DU-affiliated or constituent colleges must first register for CUET before proceeding to the DU Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal.
For UG programme admission to the University of Delhi, CSAS will be used. However, in order to be eligible for admission, applicants must first choose DU when filling out their CUET forms and then submit their applications via the CSAS portal.
DU-JAT –
Exam DU JAT 2023 has been cancelled. For the admission to BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies), BA (Hons), Business economics, and BBA, NTA previously administered the DU JAT 2023 on behalf of Delhi University. However, as admission will be based on CUET 2023, the exam won’t be held. All UG and PG programme admission will be based on CUET 2023. CUET 2023 Applications for Undergraduate Programs should be available around February 2023.
Cut-off –
All UG and PG programmes’ DU Cutoff 2023 will be based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Beginning with the academic year 2022–2023, Delhi University began accepting admissions for undergraduate programmes through the CUET, while the Delhi University Entrance Test was used for graduate admissions (DUET). Since the academic year 2023–2024, all PG programmes at Delhi University must take the CUET. CUET UG scores will be taken into account for UG admissions, and CUET PG scores will be used for PG admissions. Candidates for admission must show up for the appropriate exams. Candidates who pass the admission exam must subsequently register on the university’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) webpage in order to get seat assignments. Multiple rounds of seat allocation are conducted using the CSAS platform.
