1. The Application Procedure
Online Registration: Go to the UBS website and complete the program-specific online application form.
Application Fee: Depending on the program, pay the application fee.
2. Entrance exams
for PGDM, Global MBA, MBA, and XAT: Send in results from accredited admission tests such as the UBSAT (UBS Admission Test), CAT, GMAT, XAT, or CMAT.
You can choose to take the UBS UBSAT if you haven't taken any of the national exams.
For BBA/BBA+MBA: Please submit your UBSAT results or results from comparable national entrance exams, such as the SAT.
Additionally, results from the 10+2 exam with at least 60% are needed for the combined BBA+MBA program.
3. Individual Interview (PI)
Those that make the short list will be invited to a personal interview. Either in-person or online interviewing is possible.
The purpose of the PI is to evaluate the candidate's leadership potential, problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and program motivation.
4. Written Ability Test (WAT) and Group Discussion (GD) (For MBA/PGDM)
A Written Ability Test (WAT) or Group Discussion (GD) may be required for some MBA and PGDM programs following the entrance test but before the in-person interview.
5. Letter of Offer
The applicants who pass the entrance exam will receive a preliminary offer letter based on their performance in the GD/WAT (if applicable), PI, and entrance exam.
A candidate's academic history, employment experience (for MBA/PGDM candidates), entrance exam results, and PI/GD performance are all taken into account during the final selection process.
6. Confirmation of Acceptance and Admission
When a candidate receives an offer of admission, they have to accept it by paying the required admission confirmation fee.
In accordance with the UBS charge schedule, the remaining admission cost must be paid.
7. Verification of Documents
Upon acceptance of the offer, candidates are required to turn in their official transcripts (grades, diplomas, test results, etc.) for validation.
It may be necessary to submit extra paperwork, such as copies of your passport, for foreign programs.
8. Program Initiation
Upon completion of all requirements, candidates will get information regarding the program start date.
