SAM Global University, founded in 2019, is Madhya Pradesh's premier university. It provides approximately 70 regular, honors, and lateral entry programs in science and technology, business, the arts, psychology, the humanities, medicine, mass communication, and other fields. Aside from these, students can look into one-year short-term courses, such as a postgraduate diploma in school counseling.

For the academic year 2023-24, the university has added four new courses: Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering, Masters of Computer Application, P.G. Diploma in Software Engineering and Data Science, and Cloud Technology.

The Shri Guru HarGovind Society founded the university, providing quality education from elementary to postgraduate level for the past sixty years. SAM Global University was founded in 2019 under the auspices of the Shri Guru HarGovind Society and was approved in 2007 by the Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidhyalaya (Sthapana Avam Sanchalan) Adhiniyam. The university campus covers 34 acres of Agariya Chopra, Raisen (M.P.) land.
