Scholarships Based on Merit:

• Companies typically visit for placements after the 6th semester.
• Both multinational companies (MNCs) and Chandigarh-based firms frequently visit the campus.
• High placement success rate, with notable packages secured by seniors, including a highest package that allowed one to settle in Bangalore.

Internship Opportunities at NITJ

• Good internship opportunities for branches like Computer Science (CSE), Information Technology (IT), and Electronics & Communication (ECE); average for other branches.
• Approximately 50-60% of students secured summer internships.
• Students unable to secure on-campus internships often apply for off-campus or unpaid internships.
• About 15-20 students receive paid internships, with the highest stipend offered by Microsoft at ₹1.25 lakh per month and the lowest at ₹10,000 from BIS.

• Four students in the class received Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs); those with PPOs below ₹20 lakh are allowed to sit for higher-paying companies during placements.
