Index Medical College provides a spectrum of medical courses aimed at delivering an integral education and hands-on exposure to the healthcare profession. The premier undergraduate course is the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), which is stretched over 5.5 years in addition to a one-year mandatory internship. This course is designed to provide students with a basic knowledge in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology, and clinical skills through rotations in different departments like General Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Addmission - 2026 (Index Medical College Indore)

1. Eligibility Criteria

  • For MBBS:
     
    • Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects.
       
    • Minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (for General category) and 40% (for SC/ST/OBC).
       
    • Age: Minimum 17 years at the time of admission.
       
  • For MD/MS:
     
    • Must have completed MBBS from a recognized institution.
       
    • Must have a valid NEET PG score.
       

2. NEET UG Exam

  • For MBBS admission, candidates must appear and qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG).
     
  • NEET UG is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
     

3. Application Form

  • Fill out the online application form available on the college website or during MP State Counselling registration.
     
  • Submit the required documents and pay the application fee.
     

4. Counseling Process

  • State Quota Counseling (MP) or All India Quota (AIQ), depending on the candidate’s eligibility.
     
  • MP State Counseling is managed by Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh.
     
  • Candidates must register for counseling and select their preferred course and college.
     

5. Seat Allotment

  • Based on NEET UG rank, candidates will be allotted seats during the counseling process.
     
  • Once the seat is allotted, candidates must confirm their admission by reporting to the college.
     

6. Document Verification & Fee Payment

  • The candidates must submit necessary documents (mark sheets, NEET scorecard, age proof, etc.) for verification.
     
  • Pay the prescribed admission fee to confirm the seat.
     

7. Commencement of Classes

  • After completing the admission formalities, classes for MBBS or MD/MS will begin as per the academic schedule.
