School of Management Studies, Moti Lal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad offers an integrated multi-step procedure to the MBA programs wherein candidates can apply as per their academic qualifications. This is step-by-step guidance through the whole process of admission as follows:

Step 1: Checking Eligibility

Find out whether you also qualify under the eligibility criteria before applying.

• Qualification: Bachelors' degree in any discipline having an aggregate percentage of 60% or above. For SC/ST, the percentage shall be 55%. From a recognized university.

• Entrance Exam: A valid CAT score shall be required by the candidates.

Step 2: Online Application

• Application Form: Application form is available at the official website of MNNIT, or SMS MNNIT's admission portal.

• Fill the Application Form: Fill personal, academic, and entrance exam details.

• Documents: Upload scanned copies of documents such as:

o Mark sheets (10th, 12th, and Graduation)

o CAT scorecard

o Passport-size photograph

o Signature

• Application Fee: Pay the required application fee (details available on the official website).

Step 3: Short listing Based on CAT Score

• The short listing is done based on CAT score by SMS MNNIT. For each year a cutoff score is fixed and all candidates who obtain or above cutoff will be allowed for further round.

Step 4: GD/PI

•GD/PI Call: Short listed candidates who qualified further rounds are called to campus or by video conferencing for GD/PI.

•Preparation: The candidate should prepare him/herself for discussions about current affairs, business trends, and case studies, and should be effective while presenting himself in the interview.

Step 5: Final Selection

•The final selection will be made on the basis of the following:

oCAT score (50% weightage)

oGD/PI performance (30% weightage)

oPrevious academic record (10% weightage)

oExperiential learning- If applicable, up to 10% weightage.

•The final list of selected candidates will be put on the official website.

Step 6: Offer Letter and Admission Confirmation

• Offer Letter: An offer letter would be sent via the email to the selected candidates.

• Acceptance: The candidates have to accept by paying the admission fee and fulfilling the required documents.

Step 7: Document Verification

• Documents: All original documents for verification and submission to confirm admission at the reporting hour in campus.

• The documents include;

   o Class 10th and 12th mark sheets

   o Graduation degree/provisional certificate

   o CAT scorecard

   o Valid ID proof

   o Category certificate if needed

Step 8: Classes Starting

•classes will start at the end after getting admission and generally classes begins in August or September every year.

Step 9: Tuition Fees payment
