PU CET 2025

The Punjab University Common Entrance Test is conducted for undergraduate courses, especially for B.Sc courses in various domains. Applicants who want to seek admission into B.Sc courses need to appear for the exam. 

The dates of PU CET 2025 will be released on the official website. This exam is conducted in an offline mode. To appear for the PU CET exam, candidates make an online registration which you can find on the website. Fill out the entire form carefully and upload the required documents and thumb impression. 

The PU CET exam consists of 60 mcq in every subject with a time duration of 70 minutes. There will be a negative marking of 0.5 for every incorrect answer. Subjects which are included in the PU CET - Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics. The medium of a PU CET exam is in English language.

The PU CET application form will be released on the website once there is an official announcement. Here is the following instruction to follow while filling out the PU CET application form. 

• Go to the official website for registration 
• Fill out the personal detail section such as mobile number and email ID. 
• After registration, the application/ registration number and password will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number. 
• Login into the application form by using your credentials to fill out the rest of the form. 
• Enter your personal, family and academic details. Make sure that all the information is correct. 
• Upload the necessary documents under the document upload section which includes a passport-size photograph and thumb impression. 
• Check the entire details once again and submit the application form. 
• The application fees will be submitted via SBI challan mode. 
• Print out the bank slip and pay the application fee using the website-generated bank slip in any SBI Branch. 
• The application fee for PU CET 2025 is INR 2100 for unreserved and INR 1050 for SC/ST/ Disabled (blind students) category. 
• The PU CET application fee is non-refundable. 
• Print out the application fee for future consideration

PU CET Eligibility 2025 

Every candidate needs to be familiar with the basic standard norms of PU CET. Aspirants who fulfil the eligibility criteria can proceed with the application form. Those who fail to meet the benchmark will have their application form terminated. These are the following guidelines that need to be followed. 

• Applicant must be Indian 
• Students who are Indian-born but reside in other countries are not eligible for the PU CET exam. 
• Aspirants must be 17 years or above as of 31st December at the time of admission. 
• Candidates must pass the class 12th CBSE board or Delhi or similar to that. 
• Students who will appear for the class 12th exam are eligible for the PU CET exam. 
• Candidates ensure that they have Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and English in their 12th exam.
