Index Medical College provides a spectrum of medical courses aimed at delivering an integral education and hands-on exposure to the healthcare profession. The premier undergraduate course is the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), which is stretched over 5.5 years in addition to a one-year mandatory internship. This course is designed to provide students with a basic knowledge in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology, and clinical skills through rotations in different departments like General Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics & Gynecology.

 

Postgraduate courses in MD (Doctor of Medicine) and MS (Master of Surgery) are provided by the college in different specializations like General Medicine, Pediatrics, Anesthesia, Pathology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, etc. These programs are designed to produce strong subject-matter knowledge and train physicians for advanced clinical practice and academic appointments.
