Apollo Institute of Medical Science and Research (AIMSR) is a prominent institute in provides top-class education in the medical field and makes professionals in the medical sector. AIMSR was established in the year 1983 by Dr Pratap C Reddy. AIMSR offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in 11 degrees in the field of medicine and allied Science.

AIMSR is situated in Hyderabad at a distance of 13.5 Km from Secunderabad railway junction and 7 Km away from Mehdipatnam Bus Depot.

AIMSR offers courses including 1 UG course and 10 PG courses such as Anatomy, Physiotherapy, General Medicine and Surgery, Radio diagnosis, Anesthesiology, and Orthopedics.

AIMSR Infrastructure and Facilities

• Auditorium: The institute has an auditorium with a seating capacity of 650 individuals. The auditorium is used for various programs, seminars, workshops, etc.
• Canteen: The university has its food mess inside the campus premises with a seating capacity of 220+, which provides home-like cooked food according to the taste of every pupil.
• Hospital: The hospital has 470+ beds for patients and makes students to learn closely.
• Hostels room: The hostels are well-equipped with technologies such as AC rooms, free wifi, and so on,  hostels are fully automated and provide a home-like environment. A separate hostel facility for both boys and girls is available within the campus premises.
• Sports Facilities: The University has both indoor and outdoor games facilities such as chess, table tennis, carrom, football, cricket, badminton, volleyball etc.
• Transportation: The university offers a bus facility to students or day scholars, who are residing outside the campus area or nearby village or town.

AIMSR Admission process

• Candidates must clear their intermediate with an aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized board with Biology, Physics, Maths, or Chemistry.
• The admission of candidates will be based on the entrance exams such as NEET and NEET PG.
• Also, 50% of seating intake will be done by Government quota, 35% of seats will be done by management quota, and 15% of seats will be left for NRI.

AIMSR Scholarship

AIMSR offers a scholarship program to financially backward students who are unable to complete their education, The institute offers various types of scholarships

For UG and PG candidates the scholarship amount will be based on the score they got in their entrance exam or CAT.

• For UG candidates who have scored above 95% are eligible for 25% of scholarships
• For UG Applicants who have scored above 85% are eligible for 15% of scholarships
