Symbiosis International University conducts a university-level Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) for the admission of candidates to UG and PG courses in various specializations. The institute has released the application date on 13th of December 2023 and the application process will run for approximately 3 months.

The SET exam is conducted every year once in offline mode for courses such as Management, Law, Engineering, Economics, Computer Studies, Science, IT, etc.

The exam is held in more than 80 exam centres in India, the exam has one shift Every year more than 80 thousand applicants register themselves for the exam

Important dates

• The application of SET has been released on 13th December 2023.
• The last date to fill out the application is 12th April 2024.
• The Admit card will be released on 25th April 2024 for test 1 and 30th April 2024 for test 2.
• The exam will commence from 5th May 2024 for test 1 and 11th May 2024 for test 2.
• Tentatively the result will be out on 22nd May 2024.

How to apply

• To apply for the examination candidates need to visit the official website at set-test.org/
• After visiting the website candidates need to log in using their password and credentials.
• After successful login candidates need to upload all the documents such as certificates, ID Proof, and so on.
• Now candidates need to pay the application fees.
• After successful completion of the application form candidates can download the application form and take a printout of it.

Application Fee

The application fee for SET General/ SLAT/SEED is Rs. 2,250 and Rs.1000 is for program registration fee.

Eligibility 

• Candidates who have cleared the Higher secondary exam with an aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized board.
• Candidates who are in their final year are also eligible to sit in the examination.

SET Exam pattern

The Difficulty level of the exam is easy to moderate. It will be a 1 hour computer-based exam. The exam contains 60 questions, the exam paper contains Objective and Subjective type questions. The exam has 4 sections, 

• General English
• Quantitative 
• General Awareness 
• Analytical and Logical Reasoning

> For attempting every correct answer candidates will get 1 mark for each answer.

> For attempting every wrong answer no marks will be deducted.

> For unattempted questions, no marks will be deducted.
