 Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE)  conducts university-level entrance exams every year. This exam is conducted for the admission of UG programs in Engineering courses. To take admission in B.Tech courses candidates need to pass the entrance test
 

Vellore Institute of Technology and Engineering is a private institute situated in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. This institute offers a wide range of UG, PG, and Doctorate courses for Technical studies.

Registration of VITEEE 2024 has already started, to fill out the application form candidates need to visit the official website.

Important dates

• Registration of candidates for the VITEEE exam will begin on the 1st of November 2023.
• The last date for the registration of candidates is 30th March 2024.
• The slot booking procedure for the candidates will begin from 1st week of April 2024.
• The exam will commence from April 19th to April 30th of 2024.
• Tentatively the result will be out in 3rd May of 2024 on their official website.

Application process

• The application process for VITEEE is completely online based.
• Applicants can apply through the official admission portal.
• After applying applicants need to register themselves with accurate details.
• After successful registration, a login account of the candidate will be created.
• Now, candidates need to log in and upload all the required documents.
• After successful uploading of all the documents, candidates need to pay the application fee in online mode.
• After successful registration candidates need to take a printout of the application.

Application fee

• The application fee for the candidates is Rs. 1350 for every category.
• The application fee is non-refundable.

Eligibility

• Candidates who are desired to take admission. Must clear his/her graduation with an aggregate of 60% marks from a recognized institute and 50% marks are permitted for SC, ST, PwD, and DA categories candidates.
• Candidates must be a citizen of India.
• The candidates who were born in 2002 or after will be eligible.
• Students who are in the final year of graduation are also permitted to sit in the examination.

Exam pattern

The Difficulty level of the exam is moderate to high. The question paper contains 125 MCQ-type questions and will be conducted in online mode. The duration of the exam is around 2 hours 30 minutes.
 

> For attempting every correct answer candidates will get 1 mark for each answer.

> For attempting every wrong answer no marks will be deducted.

> For unattempted questions, no marks will be deducted

VITEEE Syllabus

VITEEE contains five subjects and contains 125 questions.

1. Chemistry which carries 35 questions.
2. Physics which carries 35 questions.
3. Mathematics which carries 40 questions.
4. English which carries 40 questions.
5. Aptitude Test which carries 40 questions.
