The full form of the MAT exam is the Management Aptitude Test which is held by the All India Management Association (AIMA). It facilitates admission to MBA/PGDM programs at over 800 business schools in India. The MAT exam is administered in four sessions throughout the year: February, May, September, and December.
The MAT exam is held in three modes:
offline (Paper Based Test or PBT), online (Computer Based Test or CBT), and remote proctored (Internet Based Test or IBT).
Exam fees, pattern, and syllabus remain consistent in any modes, but admit cards and dates are important . Candidates can attempt multiple times, but must register separately.

Educational Qualification:
He should also be a holder of the university Bachelors’ degree in any following fields of study.
Final year graduation course students are also eligible to apply in case they are able to show the relevant proof of graduation at the appropriate time within the time that has been laid down firmly by the institutions that they are submitting their application to.
Minimum Marks Requirement:
So, there is NO fixed threshold percentage that a candidate needs to obtain to appear for the MAT exam. But every MBA college may set their own cut off percentage which is necessary to clear for getting an admission in MBA.
Age Limit:
It means that there is no time restriction or limit to get yourself enrolled or registered to go for mature aged treatment.
Number of Attempts:
It is worth to note that there is no limited attempt for student when it comes to MAT.
Work Experience:
One does not require any work experience in order to take MAT. Even current final year students or fresh graduates may even apply.
Nationality:
Candidates should preferably be of Indian origin and should be possessing an Indian nationality. It is equally open to NRIs and foreign nationals, However, there may some special requirement one needs to fulfil depending on the specific institute.

Reading Comprehension: Sections that include self-check questions to determine readers’ comprehension and analysis of the text.
Vocabulary: Vocabulary tests which involve questions such as matching words that are on the same part of speech as well as identification of synonyms, antonyms, and the meanings of words.
Grammar: These include the areas of concern such as; Sentence correction, Error detection and grammar based questions.

Data Analysis: Overview of deriving meaning from data that is in different type, form or format.
Data Sufficiency: Making a decision on whether the given data alone is enough to answer questions or solve certain problems.
4. Intelligence and Critical Reasoning:
Logical Reasoning: Grouping of number and letters in sequences, completing an established arithmetic progression, completing a pattern in number or alphabet that is, series completion, analogies.
Critical Reasoning: Claims and reasons, premises and expectations, and stated and implied generalizations.
Analytical Reasoning: Eg. Impromptu quizzes, chairs and tables formations, especially questions based on figures and statistics.

Current Affairs: Current affairs referring to latest political, economical, sports or any other important information.
