CLAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To appear in the CLAT exam, candidates need to meet the standard norm of the exam. Failure to meet the eligibility criteria can lead to the cancellation of a candidate"s registration. Both UG and PG have different eligibility criteria. The following points of eligibility criteria are mentioned below.
Eligibility criteria for CLAT 2024 UG
- No age limit to apply for the CLAT 2024 Undergraduate program.
- Candidates must have finished their class 12 exam from any board with 45% (General, OBC, PwD, NRI, PIO, PCI categories) and 40% for SC and ST.
- Students who are appearing for the 12th exam can apply for the CLAT 2024. However, it is important to show the qualifying certificate of class 12 at the time of admission. Without a passing certificate, he or she will not proceed for further admission.
Eligibility criteria for CLAT 2024 PG
- Students belonging to general, OBC, PwD, NRI, PIO, and OCI must have at least 50% in LLB degree. Whereas students belonging to SC/ST must have 44% in the LLB degree.
- No upper age limitation.
- Final-year students of LLB can appear for the exam
