Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH) programs are formulated to provide quality medical education and practical experience to budding healthcare practitioners. The institution teaches the MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) course at the undergraduate level with a yearly intake capacity of 125 students. This 5.5-year program includes one year of mandatory rotating internship and offers intense academic teaching coupled with practical clinical exposure in its affiliated hospital. In the postgraduate category, JMCH has MD and MS courses in General Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Anesthesia, and others. Admission to all these courses is purely on the basis of performance in NEET UG and NEET PG exams, respectively.
