AIMSR Admission Process

The application process for AIMSR is conducted online through the official website of Adesh University. Candidates seeking admission to MBBS, MD, MS, and other diploma courses must register for NEET (UG) and NEET (PG) examinations.

Steps to Apply:

1.Visit the official website of Adesh University and navigate to the AIMSR section.

2.Fill out the application form with accurate details.

1. Upload required documents such as:

   • 10th and 12th Mark Sheets and Passing Certificates

   • NEET (UG/PG) Admit Card and Scorecard

   • MBBS MarkSheet and Degree Certificate (for MD/MS)

   • Internship Completion Certificate

   • Registration Certificate as a Medical Practitioner

   • Passport-size photographs

3.Pay the application fee online and submit the form.

4. Keep a copy of the application form and fee receipt for future reference.

The AIMSR provides several scholarship opportunities to support students from diverse backgrounds. Government scholarships are available for those from economically weaker sections, reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC), and students with disabilities. These are offered by the Government of Punjab and the Government of India and cover tuition fees, exam fees, and provide stipends for educational materials.

In addition to government support, merit-based scholarships are awarded based on outstanding academic performance in entrance exams or throughout the course, helping to cover a portion of tuition fees and encouraging academic excellence. Private organisations and NGOs also offer scholarships based on criteria such as academic merit, financial need, or community service. The amount and coverage of these private scholarships can vary but often include tuition fees, accommodation, and study materials.

At AIMSR hospital, every MBBS student must complete a mandatory 1-year internship, which comes with a stipend similar to those offered by other private institutions. The placement success rate is impressive, with all students securing internships at the affiliated hospital. Throughout this year, interns gain practical experience in diverse departments such as General Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Gynecology, and Emergency Medicine. Upon finishing their internship, students can either pursue further specialisation through postgraduate studies or embark on their medical careers.
