The application for the Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test (BSTET) has been released by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on their official website. Candidates who desire to appear need to fill out the form on their official website.

The Bihar STET exam is conducted every year twice in offline mode, the exam is conducted to select the qualified candidates for teacher roles.

The exam is held in more than 80 exam centers in India, the exam has one shift. Every year more than lakhs of applicants register themselves for the exam.

Bihar STET Exam Important dates

The application of STET was released on 14th December 2023.
The last date to fill out the application is 2nd January 2024.
Tentatively the Admit card will be released in the last week of February 2024.
The exam will commence from 1st March 2024 to 20th March 2024 for test 1 and 10th September 2024 to 30th September 2024 for test 2.

How to apply

To apply for the examination candidates need to visit the official website at bsebstet2024.com
After visiting the website candidates need to log in using their password and credentials.
After successful login candidates need to upload all the documents such as certificates, ID Proof, and so on.
Now candidates need to pay the application fees.
After successful completion of the application form candidates can download the application form and take a printout of it.

Bihar STET Exam Application Fee

The application fee for paper 1 is Rs.960 for General candidates and Rs.760 for SC/ST, and OBC candidates.
The fee for paper 2 is Rs.1,440 for General candidates and Rs. 1,140 for SC/ST, OBC candidates.

Bihar STET Exam Eligibility

Candidates who have cleared the Higher secondary exam with an aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized board.
Candidates who are in their final year are also eligible to sit in the examination.
Only Indian candidates are eligible.

SET Exam pattern

The Difficulty level of the exam is moderate to high. The exam contains 2 parts, paper 1 and paper 2 each paper consists of 150 marks, and the duration of each paper is 2 hours 30 minutes MCQ type questions will be asked.

Paper 1 subjects

Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, English, Math, Science, Social Science.

Paper 2 subjects

English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Computer Science, Business Studies, Accountancy, Entrepreneurship.

> For attempting every correct answer candidates will get 1 mark for each answer.

> For attempting every wrong answer no marks will be deducted.

> For unattempted questions, no marks will be deducted.
