ICFAI Business School (IBS) Aptitude Test or IBSAT is an online aptitude test conducted nationwide by ICFAI Foundation For Higher Education (a deemed to be a University under Section 3 of UGC act 1956), for students seeking admission to the MBA / PGPM programs in any of the 9 ICFAI Business Schools, which are -

IBSAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of multiple choice questions. It"s duration is 2 hours and is generally conducted over a window of 2 days in the month of December. 

After qualifying, candidates have to attend a selection briefing and go through the final process, which includes two rounds, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

IBSAT Application Form

The first step of students seeking admission in IBS for postgraduate programmes in management, is to fill in the IBSAT application form during its registration window. Candidates are required to create a login ID and password at first, followed by filling out the application form and ending with the payment of the application fee of INR 1800. IBSAT is conducted across numerous cities in different states throughout India. 

Post IBSAT - Procedure for Admission in IBS

IBSAT aims at testing a candidate"s ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.

After qualifying in IBSAT / GMAT /NMAT / CAT / XAT candidates will be called for the selection process, which consists of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

The final selection is dependent upon the candidate"s past academic record and performance of the candidates in Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

IBS Fee Details

  • The fee for the MBA program at IBS Hyderabad is INR. 8.01 LPA

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates have to fulfill certain eligibility requirements in order to appear in IBSAT. However, for admission in IBS, one can also appear in exams like GMAT, CAT, NMAT, GMAC and qualify. The eligibility requirements for IBSAT are -

  1. Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks and medium of instruction as English.
  2. All applicants should have completed a minimum of 15 years of regular education( on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis).
  3. Candidates not meeting the eligibility requirement of English medium in graduation need to appear in TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS and submit the obtained score 
  4. Students in their last year of graduation are also eligible to apply for IBSAT.
