Hostel - 2026 ( Indian Institute of Space Science and Te... )

IIST provides fully residential hostel facilities for all students, ensuring a comfortable and secure living environment. The hostels are well-equipped with furnished rooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, common study areas, indoor games, and recreational spaces. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls, with 24/7 security, CCTV surveillance, and medical assistance. The institute also offers a hygienic mess facility, serving nutritious vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. There is laundry, housekeeping, and other such essentials to ensure the convenience of staying.

The hostel fees are very low, so students do not have to pay much for staying in the hostels. The approximate hostel charges, which include room rent, mess fees, and other facilities, lie in the range of ₹20,000 to ₹30,000 per year. The exact amount may differ with the type of room and the services that one avails of. Scholarships and other forms of financial assistance are provided to students to avoid the barrier of accommodation cost from education.
