Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental of Karnataka (COMEDK) is one of the toughest and most competitive, state-level entrance exams through which candidates can get admission in various UG and PG technical, medical, and other courses.

The COMEDK Exam is conducted in Online mode or Computer based test once a year.

The duration of COMEDK 2024 is 3 hours. While carrying the admit card candidates need to also carry one official Identity proof such as an Aadhar card, PAN card, Driving license, or Voter card. GATE admit card is a compulsory document and the requirement of document is mandatory for appearing in the exam.

Important Dates
 

• Tentatively the registration of candidates will start from the 3rd week of January 2024.
   
• The Availability of the Mock Test for COMEDK 2024 will start from 1st week of February 2024.
   
• The last date for the registration of candidates is 3rd week of April 2024.
   
• The correction facility of the applicants has started from 4th April 2024.
   
• Tentatively the issue of Admit cards in online mode will begin from 1st week of May 2024. 
   
• The exam will commence from 12th May 2024.
• The Answer Key for COMEDK will be released on the 3rd week of May 2024.
   
• The exam results will be released in the 4th week of May 2024.
   
• The Counselling session will start from 1st week of January 2024.

Application  fees

For COMEDK 2024 the application fee for the candidates is Rs.1,800. The application fee is nonrefundable.

How to apply

• The application process for COMEDK is completely online based.
• Applicants need to apply through the official website comedk.org
• After applying applicants need to register themselves with their Mobile number and email ID.
• After successful registration, a login account of the candidate will be created.
• Now, candidates need to log in and upload all the required documents such as passport size photo and signature, and academic details.
• After successful uploading of all the documents, candidates need to pay the application fee.
• After successful registration applicants need to take a printout of the application form.

How to Download Admit Card
 

• To download the admit card candidates need to visit the official website.
   
• After visiting the official website applicants need to enter their valid enrollment number and password.
   
• After the login the candidates portal will open, now click the hall ticket download link.
   
• Click the link, download the admit card, and take a printout of it.

Eligibility 

• Candidates who are going to appear for COMEDK need to be qualified for higher secondary from a recognized board with an aggregate of 50% marks for general candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
   
• Applicants must be citizens of India.
   
• Candidates who are in their final year or have a bachelor"s degree are also eligible.
   
• There is no age limit or number of attempts for the candidates.
   
• Diploma candidates are not eligible.

COMEDK Exam pattern

The Difficulty level of the exam is moderate to high. The question paper contains MCQ-type questions and will be held in online mode.

180 questions will be given and the applicants will get 3 hours to complete the paper.

It has 3 Subjects each subject carries 60 MCQ type questions.

• For attempting every correct answer applicants will get 1 mark for each question.
• For attempting every wrong answer no marks will be deducted.
• For unattempted questions, no marks will be deducted.

Syllabus 

The syllabus of COMEDK is based on the CBSE board, the state board of various states, and also Karnataka PUC. The exam has 3 Subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics each section carries 60 marks a total of 180 marks.
