Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences (HIMS), Hassan, provides undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses aimed at providing students with in-depth knowledge and clinical skills. The undergraduate flagship course is the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with a duration of 5.5 years, with a one-year mandatory rotating internship. Admission to the MBBS course is by National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG).
