ACMS

Army College of Medical Sciences was founded in April 2008 as a welfare initiative by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). Its mission is to provide MBBS degrees to eligible serving and former Army personnel, war widows, and widows of army personnel by offering high-quality medical education. According to India Today's ranking, Army College of Medical Sciences is the best medical college in north India. It offers M.B.B.S. undergrad medical students a high-quality education. The college is approved by the Medical Council of India (formerly the National Medical Commission, NMC) and is associated with Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University in New Delhi.

In the Delhi Cantonment neighborhood, ACMS is situated close to the ring road and occupies 25.559 acres. The college's location in a great area of Delhi, just a short distance from the newly opened Delhi Cantt Metro Station, makes it convenient for staff, students, and visitors to get to. The campus, which has 23 classrooms, 7 seminar rooms, 18 labs, 4 lecture halls, and 1 library, was designed with the idea of a green environment in mind. In addition, there are two canteens, eight playgrounds, and a computer center (MEDLAR room in the utility block) with an internet connection for pupils to use.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES JOINING ACMS ACADEMIC SESSION – 2023-24

1. AIM

The Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) founded the ACMS with the intention of offering top-notch medical instruction to the offspring of qualified active duty soldiers, former soldiers, and widows of the Army or war widows.

2. LOCATION

The ACMS is situated next to the Delhi Cantt Metro Station and Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt (BHDC), across from Brar Square on the Ring Road. The College is easily accessible by public transit and has excellent connections to all areas of Delhi.

3. NUMBER OF SEATS

There are 100 seats for the MBBS program at ACMS. The distribution of seats will be in accordance with the policy of Govt of NCT of Delhi. The allotment of seats will be made by the GGSIP University strictly on the basis of NEET score.
