To be eligible for admission to B.Tech, candidates must have completed 10+2 in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) for Biotechnology with an aggregate of 60% marks. Additionally, they need to clear the SUAT (Sharda University Admission Test) or have a valid score in JEE Main or UPSEE.

Sharda University conducts its entrance examinations, including the SUAT (Sharda University Admission Test), in a computer-based test format. The duration of the test is 90 minutes (1.5 hours), and it consists of objective-type questions with no negative marking.
