Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI), Kolkata, is one of the prominent campuses of FDDI established under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. Founded to promote excellence in footwear, fashion, retail, and leather goods design, the Kolkata campus has emerged as a key hub for design and management education in Eastern India. Established in 2010, FDDI Kolkata offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Footwear Design, Fashion Design, Retail, and Leather Goods Design & Production. The institute provides world-class infrastructure, advanced design studios, computer-aided design (CAD) labs, and industry-linked training.
