The admission process at Budge Budge Institute of Technology is straightforward and allows for multiple entry options. Admissions to the B.Tech program are based on WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam) or JEE Main scores. For M.Tech, students must qualify through GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering), while MBA admissions are based on CAT, MAT, or MAKAUT’s CET scores. Diploma admissions are primarily based on merit and available seat capacity.

Admissions open in April, and students must submit their applications by July. Documents required include mark sheets, entrance exam scores, and identity proofs. After qualifying, students participate in counseling sessions to finalize their course and complete the admission formalities. Selected candidates are notified and must complete their admission by paying the first installment of fees.
