Pune Business School (PBS) - Admission process
1. Application Submission
- Candidates must fill out the online or offline application form available on the PBS website.
- Provide necessary details such as academic background, personal information, and entrance exam scores (CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT, or ATMA).
2. Entrance Exam
- A valid score in any of the recognized national-level management entrance exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT, or ATMA is required.
- The entrance exam score is crucial for shortlisting candidates for further rounds.
3. Shortlisting
- Based on the entrance exam scores, academic background, and other eligibility criteria, candidates are shortlisted for further rounds of the admission process.
4. Group Discussion (GD)
- Shortlisted candidates participate in a Group Discussion, where they are assessed on communication skills, leadership abilities, and problem-solving approach.
5. Personal Interview (PI)
- After the GD, candidates go through a Personal Interview where the panel evaluates their knowledge, confidence, career goals, and motivation for pursuing the PGDM or MBA program.
6. Final Selection
- The final selection is based on a composite score, which includes:
- Entrance exam score
- Performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview
- Academic record
- Work experience (if applicable)
7. Offer Letter
- Successful candidates receive an offer letter for admission, and they are required to confirm their seat by paying the admission fee within the given timeframe.
8. Document Verification
- Candidates must submit original documents for verification, including:
- Entrance exam scorecard
- Academic certificates
- Identification proof
- Category certificate (if applicable)
9. Fee Payment
- After document verification, candidates need to pay the remaining course fee to secure their admission at Pune Business School.
