Both male and female students can stay in comfortable hostels at Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology (KIT), Coimbatore. To accommodate a range of tastes and price ranges, the hostels offer individual, double, and triple occupancy room configurations. There are also air-conditioned rooms reserved for MBA students. The living experience is improved by the common areas on each floor of the hostel, which are equipped with LCD TVs, areas for indoor games, and a well-stocked gym. 

 

In terms of cost, the annual hostel fee for male students is roughly ₹37,000, while the annual fee for female students is approximately ₹34,600. Usually, these costs include utilities, room rent, and other extras. A mess fee of about ₹24,000 is also charged annually, which covers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meal options. During the initial admission process, a ₹1,000 admission fee and a ₹5,000 refundable caution deposit are also needed. ​
