The following procedures are often involved in the admissions process for JSPM's Jayawant Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Tathawade:

 

1. The MBA Admissions Procedure

  • Entrance Exam: Applicants must have passed one of the authorized entrance tests, such as the ATMA, CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, or MAH-CET, with a valid score.
  • Qualifications: A minimum of 50% in any discipline upon graduation (45% in reserved areas).
  • Application: Use the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra's centralized admission process (CAP) or the official website to submit an application.
  • Counseling: Candidates who make the short list based on their admission exam scores will be called to a counseling session where they can select the specialization that best suits them.
  • Final Selection: Document verification, counseling, and admission exam results are taken into account.

2. Admissions Procedure for MCA

  • Entrance Exam: A passing MAH-MCA-CET score is necessary.
  • Eligibility: Graduation in any field with a minimum of 50% (45% for restricted categories) in mathematics at the 10+2 level or upon graduation.
  • Use the State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell website to submit an application.
  • Counseling: Those who pass the CET are invited to a counseling session in addition to being assigned a seat.
  • Final Decision: Determined by document verification, counseling, and CET score.

 

3. Required Documents:

  • Graduation, 10th and 12th grade mark sheets.
  • Scorecard for entrance exams.
  • certificate of caste (where applicable).
  • Certificate of domicile (for candidates from Maharashtra).
  • Identity verification (passport, Aadhar card, etc.).
