Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu provides a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs in medicine and healthcare. The premier undergraduate course is the MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery), which is a 5.5-year course with a one-year mandatory internship. Apart from MBBS, the college also provides different B.Sc. paramedical courses in subjects like Laboratory Technology, Radiography, Anesthesia Technology, and Operation Theatre Technology, intended to educate allied health scientists.
